Experience the Magic of Irish Culture at the 199th Edition of the Parade!
Do you love all things green and Irish?
Then you won’t want to miss the Montreal St. Patrick’s Day parade, a spectacular showcase of music, dance, and festive floats! Put on your shamrock hat and join the fun!
Save the Date: Sunday, March 17th, 2024!
The parade starts at noon, winding its way through downtown Montreal from Fort and Ste-Catherine Streets to Peel Street. To get a good view, arrive at least an hour before and find a spot along the route!
More Than a Parade: A Celebration of Irish Heritage and Community!
The parade is only the beginning of the festivities! Enjoy the lively performances of Irish bands and dancers, admire the creative floats, and feel the warmth of the crowd. Whether you have Irish roots or not, you are welcome to join the celebration!
After the Parade: Explore Montreal’s Irish Pubs and Cuisine!
The party doesn’t stop after the parade! Head to Bishop, Crescent, or Peel Streets between Saint-Catherine Street West and Rene-Levesque Boulevard for some Irish hospitality.
Cheers with a pint of Guinness, savour some delicious pub food, and mingle with fellow parade-goers!
How to Get There: Take the Metro and Ride the Green Wave!
The best way to get to the parade is by taking the Green Line metro.
Stations like Atwater, Guy-Concordia, and Peel will drop you off near the parade route.
So, leave your car behind, get your metro pass, and join the green wave!
Don’t Forget:
Wear something green! It doesn’t matter if it’s a leprechaun suit or a shamrock pin, just show your spirit and have fun!
